We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Data Engineer to join our dynamic and multicultural Global Business Services organization. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain our HR data lake, ensuring that stakeholders have access to high-quality data for informed decision-making. You will collaborate closely with Data Analysts and Data Scientists to support various HR initiatives and projects with the following responsibilities:
Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines in SQL and Python to ensure efficient data flow within our HR data lake;Data Modelling: Design stable data models (e.g Star Schemas);Utilization of Data Bricks: Leverage Data Bricks for data processing and management tasks, ensuring efficient handling of large datasets;Data Quality Assurance: Implement data governance principles to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and availability of data for analysis and reporting;Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements for data access and management;Collaboration with Data Teams: Collaborate with Data Analysts and Data Scientists on shared projects, contributing to the development of data-driven HR solutions;Mentoring: In addition to core responsibilities, this associate is also expected to mentor and support other team members, contributing to their growth and the overall success of the team.QualificationsWhat distinguishes you:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field;Experience: Strong experience in data engineering, with a proficiency in SQL/Python and data modeling. Familiarity with data pipeline tools and ETL processes. Experience with Data Bricks is a plus;Knowledge: Solid understanding of data quality and governance principles. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and usability;Languages: Fluent in English (C1 level), with German as an asset;Personality: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.Additional Information
