The Role
As an HR Business Partner, you act as a trusted advisor to local managers and leadership. You play a pivotal role in translating and implementing HR strategies, policies, and processes that drive business performance. With a hands-on and approachable style, you maintain a strong presence on the floor, staying close to daily operations. This enables you to understand the local context, engage effectively with teams, and support a culture of development, collaboration, and success.
Your responsibilities include:
Advising and coaching managers on HR matters including performance, absence, and developmentAccompany and support employees throughout their career path at Gate Gourmet, fostering growth and engagementIdentifying HR trends and supporting continuous improvement of HR processesSupporting organizational change and cultural development initiativesEnsuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and collective labor agreementsLeading and participating in projects on topics like sustainable employability and employer brandingCollaborating with the central HR team and other sites across the regionAbsence/ case managementWhat you bring:
At least 5 years of experience as a HR Business Partner or in a similar roleExperience in a production, logistics, hospitality or catering environment is essentialBachelor’s or master’s degree in HRM, Business Administration, or related fieldSolid knowledge of Dutch labor law, Wet Verbetering Poortwachter and experience working with collective labor agreementsStrong advisory and stakeholder management skills with a practical mindsetAbility to balance strategic thinking with hands-on supportFluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and writtenWhat we offer:
