Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Housing Manager to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, financial performance, and overall management of housing properties or residential communities. This role ensures compliance with housing regulations, delivers exceptional service to residents, and leads a team of housing professionals to achieve operational excellence. The Senior Housing Manager will also develop and implement strategies to enhance tenant satisfaction, optimize occupancy rates, and maintain the long-term value of the properties.

What You'll Be Doing:

Oversee the management of housing properties, ensuring they are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations.

Supervise, train, and mentor housing staff, including property managers, maintenance teams, and administrative personnel.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to staff.

Prepare and manage budgets for assigned properties, ensuring financial goals are met.

Monitor rent collection, control expenses, and address delinquencies.

Analyze financial reports and recommend cost-saving measures.

Foster positive relationships with tenants by addressing concerns and resolving disputes in a timely and professional manner.

Oversee the leasing process, including tenant screening, lease agreements, and renewals.

Ensure compliance with housing laws, fair housing regulations, and organizational policies.

Conduct regular property inspections to identify and mitigate risks.

Develop and implement strategies to improve occupancy rates and tenant retention.

Identify opportunities for property improvements and oversee capital projects.

Prepare and present reports on property performance, occupancy, and financial metrics to senior leadership.

Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including tenants, vendors, and regulatory agencies.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in property management, housing operations, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of housing regulations and compliance requirements.

Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
