**Job Summary**
The Senior Healthcare Financial Data & Revenue Cycle Analyst role is to leverage data to provide support in operational reporting and metrics for Corporate and Hospital leadership. The role is established to foster value creation and implementation of the organization’s data strategy through the use of the organization’s data assets. The role will partner with operational leaders to translate company priorities into metrics/ reports and their use into successful implementation of the company priorities.
As a Senior Healthcare Financial Data & Revenue Cycle Analyst, at Community Health Systems (CHS) – Shared Business Operations, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our purpose to help people get well and live healthier by providing safe, quality healthcare, building enduring relationships with our patients, and providing value for the people and communities we serve.
**Essential Functions**
+ Uses specialized experience of Oracle, Revenue Cycle to be key resource in identifying and correcting data issues.
+ Uses specialized technical knowledge of data set to be key resource in identifying and correcting data issues.
+ Provides leadership in addressing needs from business partners for analytical solutions to operational needs.
+ Provides ad hoc support to address questions raised by senior leadership in an expeditious timeframe.
+ Review issues with data and establish appropriate tickets with the EDW team on correction. Review outcome to ensure closure of issues.
+ Reviews underlying data in providing auditing/ research to provide leadership areas of opportunity to improve data quality.
+ Reviews and assists with report distribution.
+ Identifies areas of opportunity with reported data.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university required.
+ 3-5 years’ experience required for system subject area in an analytics role (Oracle, Revenue Cycle).
+ 1-2 years’ experience in a healthcare setting required
+ Experience working in databases, spreadsheets, and analytics tools required.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
+ High level technical knowledge of subject area systems.
+ Financial reporting in a healthcare setting experience preferred.
+ Strong SQL knowledge and skills
+ Familiarity with Google data analytics platforms.
+ 3-5 years of experience with Oracle.
+ 3-5 years of accounting systems experience.
