We are seeking a Senior Healthcare Architect with 10+ years of experience who thrives at the intersection of design excellence, clinical functionality, and project execution. Based in Vancouver, B.C, this role offers a unique opportunity to lead the planning and realization of transformative healthcare environments grounded in Canadian standards while embracing a design-forward, multi-disciplinary practice culture.

As a Senior Healthcare Architect, you will…
+ Lead the planning and design of hospitals, clinics, and complex healthcare environments from concept to construction.
+ Champion design integrity and clinical planning while meeting the functional and regulatory demands of healthcare delivery in Canada.
+ Facilitate user group meetings and integrate clinical workflow insights into efficient and intuitive spatial solutions.
+ Collaborate across disciplines—including architecture, interiors, and planning—to ensure a holistic approach to patient-centered care environments.
+ Establish and maintain project criteria, communicate it to project teams, and manage projects effectively while ensuring design intent is maintained throughout all project phases.
+ Provide technical oversight through design development, construction documents, and contract administration.
+ Stay ahead of evolving standards in infection control, accessibility, and sustainability, including LEED and WELL.
+ Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of continuous learning and creative exploration.
Qualifications
+ A licensed Architect (or eligible for licensure in Canada), with 10+ years in healthcare architecture.
+ Experienced in Canadian healthcare codes, CSA standards, and operational requirements of medical facilities.
+ A confident communicator who can lead meetings, present to clients and stakeholders, and advocate for design excellence.
+ Adept at balancing innovation with feasibility, translating big-picture vision into functional, buildable solutions.
+ Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and familiarity with construction management software and dRofus a preferred asset.
+ Passionate about design, performance, and contributing to a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and impact.

Base Salary Range
$110,000/yr – $140,000/y CAD
