Define and develop hardware architecture for energy management systems, ensuring scalability and compliance with automotive standards.Design electronic concepts supported by Worst Case Analysis, DFMEA, and electronic/thermal simulations.Collaborate with Mechanical Designers and PCB Layout Engineers to define and optimize PCB concepts.Lead hardware development activities throughout the automotive project lifecycle, from concept to production.Ensure compliance with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) and EMC requirements.Conduct design reviews and ensure documentation meets internal and customer standards.Interface with cross-functional teams and customers to align technical requirements and resolve issues.Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the hardware team.Support supplier selection and technical evaluation of components.Drive continuous improvement in hardware development processes and tools.
