Position Title: Senior Group Sales Manager Reports to: Director of Sales & Marketing FLSA Designation: EXEMPT Position Summary: The individual is responsible for driving revenue growth by attracting and securing group bookings through a variety of segments as identified and strategic based upon market conditions. This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, building relationships with clients, and ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly motivated, organized, and passionate about exceeding sales goals and delivering exceptional experiences. Key Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Sales: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and increase market share. Identify and engage potential clients through proactive outreach, networking, and participation in industry events. Showcase our resort’s outstanding, accommodations, event spaces, golf facilities and amenities to prospective clients. Create and deliver compelling and custom sales proposals tailored to corporate groups, event planners, and travel agencies. Collaborate with the marketing team to design effective promotional materials and campaigns. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to foster loyalty and repeat business. Conduct personalized site visits and tours of the resort to showcase our offerings to potential clients. Follow up with client’s post-event to ensure satisfaction and secure future bookings. Qualifications 3-5 years of proven success in hotel sales, ideally within a resort or golf resort environment. Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve sales targets and expand market share. In-depth knowledge of golf resort operations and amenities. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Knowledge of Group Management Systems with CI/TY ideal to have Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Willingness to travel and attend industry events as required. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods Comfortable working in varying temperatures Capable of lifting up to 10 pounds Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible after successful Human Resource checks
