They play a key role in the conceptualization, design, and development of apparel graphics and branding elements. These designers have an affinity for world-building and storytelling through graphic design, integrating narrative elements that resonate with consumers and athletes. **WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON** Drive an emotional connection to graphic design for the EMEA consumer through the use of narrative and storytelling — bringing to life close to market trend-relevant, seasonal creative direction by being a graphicspecialist at the product and collection level. You will use graphics to deliver an elevated consumer relevant brand point of view in the marketplace through strategic vision, design direction, storytelling and editing. You'll communicate design concepts effectively. In addition, you will collaborate and build in a fast-paced closer to market environment and make informed design and application decisions with efficiency and agility, while keeping costing targets in mind. You'll monitor the development of prototype samples and interact with development, to finalize production details; choosing trim and print applications, you will be challenged by a wide range of responsibilities and experiences and ensure timely completion of each project. Your focus is to bring to life the seasonal product direction that is trend-relevant EMEA consumer at speed. **WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH** This is a creative design opportunity reporting to the EMEA Apparel Graphic Manager and involves working directly with the EMEA Apparel Design Team including Color, Product and Footwear teammates and the EMEA Apparel Product Management and Development teams, to help Nike create the future of narrative driven graphic design across the Nike EMEA apparel portfolio. **WHAT YOU BRING** + **TO BE CONSIDERED, YOU MUST SUBMIT A CREATIVE DESIGN PORTFOLIO. PLEASE PROVIDE WEBSITE LINKS OR ATTACH PDF FILES WHEN YOU APPLY.** + 4 years or more of graphic design experience at agency or in-house setting, or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, and training + Well-curated portfolio showcasing a variety of projects that demonstrate a strong, effective methodology for research, inspiration, design development, problem solving, process, and final execution. + Working directly with a diverse range of consumers/athletes*. + Contribution to the initiation, development and implementation of in-depth research leading to distinct product story-telling + A positive attitude while working on projects with challenging briefs and through ambiguity to successful completion. + Prioritizing workload across short-term and long-range projects with varying levels of complexity. + Demonstrates self-awareness, with ability to articulate their strengths, opportunities, and takeaways. + Well informed and stays connected to sport, cultural and graphic design trends. + Advancing knowledge of product design, including ideation, development, specification, and final execution of designs that balance innovation, performance, and style. + High Degree of proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is a must, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop + Creatively agile and adept in innovative thinking, visioning and problem solving. + Expert narrative development and communication skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver project presentations to Senior leadership and External Partners + A deep understanding of Typography, Color Theory, Brand Identity, and Design Principles + Excelling communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams + Must have a passion for storytelling and the ability to translate narratives into compelling visual elements that can translate to product + Excellent collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure product and team excellence + A proven ability to present design concepts and strategies to key stakeholders, articulating the vision and rationale behind creative decisions.
