We’re looking for a Backend Go Developer to join a consulting team supporting a high-profile client in the food & delivery tech space. This role focuses on building backend APIs that connect the client's systems to third-party services like DoorDash and others.

You’ll be hands-on in the AWS cloud environment, writing clean Go code, creating scalable APIs, and shipping enterprise-grade solutions.

Tech & Tools

Go (Golang) – core backend language

AWS – cloud-native development & deployment

Containers – Kubernetes preferred (others fine)

Unit Testing – part of daily workflow

Scrum/Agile – fast-moving delivery cycles

You’ll Need

7+ years software development experience

2–3 years of solid Go backend development

Experience with enterprise-level applications or consulting projects

Comfortable building & releasing in AWS environments

Ability to work on middle-tier integration & deep backend logic

Great communication skills — you’ll collaborate closely with our lead dev & client stakeholders

What You’ll Be Doing

Developing backend APIs in Go

Working in a middle-tier integration environment

Creating connections between the client’s internal systems and third-party delivery platforms

Deploying code and managing releases in AWS

Participating in Agile ceremonies and collaborative planning

Troubleshooting and improving existing functionality

Milestones

30 Days: Embedded with team, onboarding into first project

90 Days: Contributing Go APIs and helping drive integration solutions

1 Year: Fully ramped, delivering across multiple projects and owning backend components
