We are seeking an experienced Senior GL Specialist with Italian (m/f/d) to join our dynamic finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute significantly to our financial operations and reporting processes.
Responsibilities Responsible for execution of operational sub-processDrive the timely completion of monthly financial closing activitiesConduct in-depth balance sheet analyses and reconciliationsMaintain General Ledger master data and ensure data integrityPrepare VAT declarations in compliance with regulatory requirementsFixed assets accountingDeliver accurate and timely financial reportsAssists in implementation of activities to streamline and standardize operations, including operational metricsSupport financial statement preparation and reportingCollaborate with internal and external auditors during audit processesPartner with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-makingAssists Team Lead as needed; participate in special projectsProactive resolution of day-to-day issues QualificationsQualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in General Ledger (experience with US GAAP preferred)Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance / ACCA/ SKWP coursesProficient in English and Italian (min. B2- Level)Very good knowledge of SAP ERP or Microsoft Dynamics Navision (ideally SAP ERP)Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
