The role requires experience in the design of deep and shallow foundations for maritime structures, as well as experience in dredging, reclamation and ground improvement works for major port projects. + Perform technical tasks such as geotechnical analyses, calculations, design, verification or desktop studies for the development of maritime infrastructure. + Perform stability, settlement, and foundation analyses for piers, wharves, retaining walls, quay walls, etc. + Evaluate soil-structure interaction and provide recommendations for foundation systems, including shallow and deep foundations. + Perform liquefaction assessments, design ground improvement techniques, slope stabilisation measures and earthworks. + Review data and testing reports from geotechnical investigations and prepare geotechnical interpretative reports. + Preparation of reports, specifications, cost estimates and undertaking tender reviews. + Review contractors’ designs. + Experience in dredging, reclamation and ground improvement works, that includes development of relevant design and specifications for design-build packages. + Past experience in coordinating with specialist contractors during site investigations. + Good knowledge of all the relevant Eurocodes and British standards applicable to maritime structures. + _Demonstrable experinece of geotechnical design of maritime structures including marginal quay(blockwalls, combiwalls. etc) jetty, dolphins, Ro-Ro faclities, marinas, coastal structures etc._
