Your role:   
As a Senior General Ledger Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, accurate, and timely financial data and reports to support informed business decisions. You will lead the monthly financial close process, ensuring full compliance with internal controls and external audit requirements.In this role, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS and for reconciling balance sheet accounts. You will also manage Inventory, Accruals, payroll and HR-related bookings, while leading and actively participating in all month-end closing activities.Your duties will also include supporting system testing and implementation processes, as well as contributing to ongoing process improvement and standardization initiatives across the team. As a senior team member, you will be expected to mentor and guide junior colleagues, ensuring knowledge sharing and skills development within the team.Additionally, you will handle audit-related tasks and compliance activities, while collaborating on various ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects that contribute to overall business insight and decision-making.We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates a high level of independence and ownership in their daily responsibilities. The ideal person for this role will approach challenges proactively and with a solution-oriented mindset, while also showing a strong desire for continuous learning and professional development.The ability to collaborate effectively with both local and global teams on a daily basis is essential. Equally important is the capacity to act as a reliable and insightful partner for the Accounting Business Partner-providing not only accurate data, but also meaningful context and perspective.In this position, you will not only ensure accounting accuracy and regulatory compliance, but you will also play an active role in improving processes and shaping the way we work as a team. You will be part of a dynamic, international environment where your voice, initiative, and ownership are both welcomed and expected. 

Who you are:

3+ years in financial statement preparation, group reporting, or auditing under IFRS.Fluent written and spoken English and Turkish.Exposure to Shared Services Center environments.Proficiency in SAP FI, strong Excel and analytical skills.Excellent interpersonal skills, team-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines.Proactive, independent, and committed to continuous process improvement.University degree in Business Economics with a focus on accounting or a similar qualification
