WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Participating in architectural design sessions with the team’s engineersDeveloping and document REST API contract specifications in ConfluenceDeveloping REST APIs in Python utilizing the FastAPI frameworkBuild and optimize data pipelines and services using Databricks, PostgreSQL, and SnowflakeDesign, develop, and deploy scalable web applications using React, HTML, Python and SQLDevelop and maintain cloud-native applications on AWSUtilizing infrastructure as code practices to provision cloud resourcesBuilding and maintaining CI/CD build pipelines in JenkinsParticipating in engineer code reviews via GitHubAssisting in the story breakdown to convert architecture designs into executable tasksDeveloping data integrations using Airflow, Snowflake and Apache KafkaMentoring junior engineers through code development practices such as pair programming

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You’ll be part of a cross-functional team of engineers, business stakeholders, and product owners. You’ll also collaborate with stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, and Enterprise Platforms to deliver solutions that are secure, scalable, and aligned with Nike’s digital strategy.

WHAT YOU BRING

Experience developing cloud-native REST APIs and services in Python, deployed on AWS cloud infrastructureSkilled in message-based solutions such as SQS, Kafka, and RabbitMQExperience in building front-end applications using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, with strong capabilities in developing views using HTML/CSSHands-on experience with Databricks and SnowflakeExperience with SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL, MYSQL or MSSQLExperience working with Docker and/or Kubernetes, implemeting infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, Terraform or AWS SAM, and colaboration with business stakeholders and product managers to drive requirementsExperience in an Agile or Scrum development environment, including a demonstrated ability to deliver software applications in this environmentProven ability to deliver highly integrated software applications with complex dependencies

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Exposure to Generative AI and LLM-based applicationsExperience with AI/ML pipelines or model integrationPrior experience in the Legal domain or working with legal/compliance systemsFamiliarity with MLOps or deploying ML models in productionFamiliarity with Salesforce APIsExperience with ETL tools like Apache Airflow etc.Experience with Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, PySpark etc.
