The Role: 
We are seeking a Software Engineer (Front-End) to help design, develop and deliver our key applications. Including a web based PDF viewer that incorporates AI functions.

What you'll be doing:  

Working closely with a tightly knit engineering organization to design, deliver, and improve technical solutions that delight our customers   Develop and implement automated unit and integration tests to validate software functionality, performance, and robustness.   Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in front-end development   Use Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices during the development process, ensuring frequent and reliable software releases.   Influencing, implementing and discussing new designs, architectures, standards and best practices for large-scale distributed systems  

 

What we're looking for:  

3 to 5 years’ experience working with front-end applications and frameworks, including Angular  Proficiency with TypeScript, RxJS, Signals  Hands-on experience with state management solutions (NgRx, Signal Store)  An understanding of modern web application programming principles (e.g. favouring composition over inheritance), design patterns and architecture concepts.  Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools.   Experience writing unit and end-to-end tests to ensure quality  Excellent communication and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.   Proficiency in agile software development methodologies (we use Scrum).  

 

Outstanding candidates will also have: 

Full-stack experience and back-end exposure.  Experience working with Angular component libraries such as Angular Material, PrimeNG, or Kendo UI.  Experience developing desktop applications with Electron, especially Angular-Electron integration  Experience with monorepo architecture, particularly with Nx workspace
