Above all, we judge success by the success of our team and the happiness of our customers. **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced **Senior Front End NodeJS Developer with** 8+ years of experience in WEB application development and must have 4+ years of strong hands-on experience with React and Node development. **In this role, you will:** + Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js, Express and JavaScript. Design and implement RESTful APIs to enable communication between different parts of an application, including front-end and other services + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of CSS and HTML for user-friendly interfaces + Collaborating with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications. + Participating in the design and architecture of Java applications, including database design, API design, and system integration. + Setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments. + Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices, participate in code reviews, and contribute to improving development workflows. **What you’ll need to succeed (required skills):** + A minimum of 8+ years of experience in WEB application development and must have 4+ years of strong hands-on experience with React and Node development + Experience in developing reusable components for web/ mobile development using ReactJS, React Hooks, Redux, JavaScript, ES6, Typescript, HTML and CSS along with a strong knowledge of React-redux + Familiar with Express.js and OAuth/OIDC protocols + Understanding of scalable system architecture + Skilled in Azure, Terraform, and Kubernetes + Experienced with Jira and Confluence + Experience building and consuming APIs At Cognizant, we're eager to meet people who believe in our mission and can make an impact in various ways!
