Job Description & Qualifications
Join our Technical Services Team in Carole Park whereby we manufacture high quality tablets and capsules so that people can live healthier at every stage of life.
$2,000 new starter stay bonus to successful candidates! (half paid at 6 months and the remainder paid when you reach one year with us).
Responsibilities:
Provides oversight of technical and formulation knowledge for product transfers, new product launches, validations, and process improvement activities.
Manages multiple projects, and directs planning and development of troubleshooting initiatives, and formulation and process improvement activities at Carole Park manufacturing sites. This includes development and execution of trial batches to support improvements
Participates in introduction of new products or product health projects
Reviews annual product reviews and assist in defining corrective actions.
Reviews site recommendations regarding Critical Process Parameters, Critical Material Attributes, and Process Control Strategies
Assists Technical Service Department in defining investigative and validation criteria.
Reviews and approves manufacturing investigations related to product quality, engineering trials, and validation protocols and reports.
Assists in educating and training local technical services and manufacturing personnel in formulation process control, and design concepts.
Write and review formal reports regarding product launch, investigation, process improvement, status, and resolution.
Develops investigation strategies, and drive project timelines, as necessary.
Works as part of an interdepartmental team to support local investigation and validation priorities.
Keeps current with global regulatory guidelines, compendial requirements, and technical investigations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
About you:
Pharmaceutical experience with emphasis on drug development, process development and manufacturing.
Ability to solve problems with a variety of concrete variables through semi-standardized solutions that require some ingenuity and analysis.
Ability to draw inferences and follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve moderately complex problems.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 5 years of experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
Maths knowledge required. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and perform statistical computations. Advanced mathematical skills preferred.
