Responsibilities As a Senior Flight Controls Engineer with AMERICAN SYSTEMS, you will have an opportunity to do the following:
Provide innovative, technical solutions to solve complex problems on advance aircraftProvide technical and programmatic support and oversight on Navy aircraft platforms including F-35, E-2, and F-18.Perform control law design and analysisAnalyze redundancy management of safety critical control systemsSupport Built-In-Test (BIT) designPerform Flight Control System integration testing (including simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and on-aircraft)Analyze flight control systems including flight control computers, software, hydraulic and electromechanical actuators, and mechanical flight control linkagesSupport the flight control system software support activity Qualifications The ability to obtain a Secret clearance (Requires US Citizenship)Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other technical discipline5-10 years of relevant experience in at least one of the followingFlight Control Law design and analysisFlight Control system simulation and hardware in the loopFlight Control system testing (ground, flight, and lab environment)Flight Control Software development, integration, analysis, and test Pay Transparency Statement AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $108,100.00/Yr. - USD $180,600.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
