**We are searching for the best talent for** **SENIOR FIXED ASSET LEAD located in Juarez, Chih, Mexico** **.**
**Purpose:**
The Fixed Assets Lead will oversee the site fixed assets management process. This position is responsible for the accurate tracking, reporting, and management of all company fixed assets for the site. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in accounting or asset management, and a comprehensive understanding of asset lifecycle management.
In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
+ Oversee the fixed assets accounting process, including asset acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
+ Maintain and update fixed assets register to ensure accurate tracking of all company assets.
+ Prepare and conduct regular asset audits to verify the existence and condition of fixed assets.
+ Coordinate with various departments to ensure all asset purchases are captured accurately in the financial system.
+ Develop and implement policies and procedures for effective fixed asset management and compliance with relevant regulations.
+ Assist in the preparation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting of fixed assets data.
+ Collaborate with external auditors during the fixed asset audits and resolve any identified issues.
+ Provide training and support to team members and other departments regarding fixed asset processes and procedures.
+ Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in fixed asset management.
+ Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
+ Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
+ For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
+ Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
+ Performs other duties assigned as needed.
**Qualifications/requirements:**
**Education:**
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or engineering
**Job experience:**
Generally, requires (3-5) years related experience, or equivalent knowledge and skills, necessary to satisfactorily perform the position responsibilities.

**AFFILIATIONS**
+ Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices related to fixed assets.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate effectively.
Preferred:
+ CPA or other relevant accounting certification.
+ Experience with ERP systems and data analytics tools.
+ Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards related to fixed assets.
