Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

**Your role at Dynatrace**
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Reporting Analyst with a strong background in technical accounting to join our team. This role will play a key part in supporting complex accounting areas and ensuring compliance with US GAAP. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing technical accounting memos and collaborating across departments on accounting matters related to acquisitions, capitalized software, lease accounting, and other non-routine transactions. The position does not have any direct reports and reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Financial Reporting.
Responsibilities:
+ Assist in the research, interpretation, and application of US GAAP to complex business transactions.
+ Prepare technical accounting memos for areas such as business combinations and M&A activity, internally developed and capitalized software costs, lease accounting, etc.
+ Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate capitalization and compliance.
+ Monitor and assess the impact of new accounting standards and help implement necessary changes.
+ Assist with financial reporting activities as needed, including footnote disclosures related to technical areas.
+ Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting requirements, including financial and variance analyses to provide to internal and external auditors.
+ Prepare monthly global journal entries.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**This is a hybrid role (2 days per week) out of our Detroit, MI office.**
**What will help you succeed**
Minimum Requirements:
+ 3+ years of public accounting experience and/or relevant Corporate financial reporting/consolidations experience.
+ Bachelor’s degree.
+ Active CPA certification is required.
Preferred Requirements:
+ Advanced Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills.
+ Experience with NetSuite and OneStream a plus.
+ Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
+ Ability to work independently and apply problem solving skills as well as being able to work in a team environment.
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills.

**Compensation and Rewards**
DOE, salary $90K - $115K, plus Health, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401K, PTO. Total compensation may vary depending on candidate experience/education and location.
