Senior Financial Institution Onboarding Associate
Provide support for the onboarding and execution for financial institution programs joining Ameriprise Financial Institutions Group (AFIG). Partner with leaders to drive consistent process for hiring, onboarding, transition execution planning, and virtual and onsite support during transition. Responsible for working directly with field advisors and sales assistants in the investment program with training, onboarding, ramp up, and practice efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Onboarding Quarterback: Lead advisors and staff through the onboarding to Ameriprise, including hiring, licensing and appointment process. Partner, leverage & influence local staff & leaders to assist in the onboard. Ensure defined roles & responsibilities for the preparation, day of & post onboarding are in place.

Transition Management: Partner with transition management support team to deliver a successful transition execution plan. Train field on leveraging digital systems and tools to manage the transition. Provide virtual or onsite practice support for day of and post onboarding processes. Seek to deliver best in class experience. Inspect EAR transition tracker and support ramp up tactics for the team.

Leadership and communication: Effectively communicate with AFIG & corporate partners to identify & share onboarding best practices, process improvements, trends & process, or policy enhancements.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or equivalent.

5 - 7 years relevant experience required.

Onboarding and transition experience, including understanding of licensing and registration requirements.

Ability to follow detailed implementation plans.

Ability to travel 10-20%.

Excellent written and communication skills.

Detail oriented and excellent time management across multiple tasks.

Ability to work in AAG Field or Corporate office.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with little or no supervision and strong organizational/time management skills.

Experience in Ameriprise onboarding systems and tools.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Base Pay Salary

The estimated hourly rate for this role is $26.44 - $45.63 / hour. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
