Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Financial Data & Reporting Analyst to play a critical role in advancing our financial reporting and data analytics capabilities. In this hands-on role, you will build, automate, and validate financial reports and data models that directly support Accounting, FP&A, and broader business operations. You will be instrumental in driving improvements in data quality, reporting accuracy, and process efficiency across our financial systems landscape.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical proficiency with a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements. This role demands a strong foundation in accounting standards, direct experience with managerial reporting, and a proven ability to produce and validate financial outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead enhancements to financial reporting frameworks and outputs following ERP implementation. Design, develop, and maintain accurate, scalable financial reports and data models. Automate data workflows and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Alteryx. Ensure the integrity of financial data pipelines and maintain consistent, reliable data flows across systems. Collaborate with Accounting and FP&A teams to improve reconciliation processes and reporting cadences. Support revenue recognition analysis and reporting in compliance with ASC 606 standards. Identify and implement automation opportunities to accelerate reporting timelines and reduce manual effort. Participate in the development, monitoring, and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) and variance reporting. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities to provide accurate financial projections. Maintain detailed documentation for reporting structures, data flows, and technical specifications.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in financial data analysis, financial reporting, or data engineering in a finance environment. Strong SQL skills with experience managing large and complex financial data sets. Hands-on expertise with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Familiarity with ETL platforms such as Alteryx or similar tools. Solid understanding of accounting principles, including US GAAP and ASC 606. Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365. Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail. Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations. Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
