About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with ACCA certification, and extensive experience in data analytics using tools. This role will involve analyzing complex financial data, producing detailed reports, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze
complex financial datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that
drive business decisions.
Develop
and maintain dashboards and reports using PowerBI to support reporting and
business insights across Finance, Operations, and Strategy teams.
Implement, automate, report and
update financial and business performance KPIs.
Contribute to business
cases, forecasting, and budgeting efforts.
Perform
variance analysis and root cause identification to support executive
decision-making.
Create
workflows to automate data processes and improve efficiency.
Collaborate
with cross-functional teams to identify and solve business problems.
Ensure
data accuracy and integrity in all outputs, using QA checks and audit
processes.
Develop
and maintain SQL scripts to support data extraction, transformation, and
loading (ETL) processes.
Contribute
to continuous improvement of data governance, definitions, and metadata
documentation.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Financial Data Analyst or similar role.
ACCA certification or equivalent financial qualification.
Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
Proficiency in data analytics, data visualization, reporting tools such as PowerBI and SQL.
Comfortable working with large, multi-source datasets and proficient in Excel and data modeling.
Proven experience in developing analytical models and reports based on business requirements.
Familiarity with financial systems, ERP software, CRM systems.
Experience with other data analytics tools such as Python or R.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
