As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will work on gift entry and analysis grants, payroll donations, PTO gifts, pledges, matching gifts, donor advised funds and preparing reports for donors. Philanthropy has established career paths with robust opportunities for growth and development.
A caregiver in this position works 8:00am – 5:00pm. We are seeking candidates who reside in the greater Northeast OH area!!
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide financial or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) data, metrics and standard/ad hoc reporting to support the organization's needs.
Prepare, analyze and communicate key financial information.
Provide support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and other issues.
Assist with budget preparation, budget review for compliance and financial planning processes.
Retrieve and manipulate complex information with database tools, such as SAS and Teradata.
Consult with all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
Perform special projects and duties related to research, forecasting and conflict resolution.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance business or a related field
Four years of financial or revenue cycle management or general analytical experience
OR Master’s degree and three years of experience.
OR Cleveland Clinic Finance Fellow experience may offset one year of required experience.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
Experience with gift accounting/finance in a nonprofit setting
4+ years of experience in financial analysis, grant management, fund oversight, or a related role.Strong understanding of nonprofit financial management, compliance, and impact evaluation.Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills.Proficiency with donor, financial and grant management software and financial reporting tools.Ability to navigate FASB, IRS, and other governing agency sources relating to charitable donations and fund utilization and reporting requirements.Experience working with foundations, large healthcare organizations, or financial departments.Healthcare experience is strongly preferred
