Overview
As part of the ERP Modernization and business transformation, we are implementing a best-in-class ERP solution. We are looking for a Workstream Co-Lead to contribute to the design, build and implementation of the new solution with a focus on Programming.
The ERP Programming Workstream Co-Lead will be a key resource on the ERP modernization project. They will be responsible for overseeing the Programming business process within the project and supporting the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) members to ensure the high-quality implementation of the new ERP solution.
Reporting to the ERP Transformation Director, they will act as a single point of contact and coordinate the solution in their process area with the support of other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). They will ensure that relevant issues from their work streams are escalated to the operational team and the working group.
Working collaboratively with a peer from the system integration team, the successful candidate will be an active member of working committees. They will also lead and actively participate in team meetings. They will implement practical process improvements, identifying opportunities for transformation, increased automation and straight-through processing. They will also understand the cost, time and impact of any changes to the broader teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Able to execute a fit-gap analysis of the current state processes and systems, identifying gaps, pain points and inefficiencies, defining the future state and having the required skill level to uncover potential improvements.
Participates in the preparation of future state systems and processes. This includes defining and documenting future state processes and proposing and evaluating solutions to improve efficiency, controls, and automation.
Collaborates with other workstream leads when processes overlap to resolve any issues.
Coordinates Business approval for detailed design documents in alignment with the process owner and SMEs of other locations within the process.
Facilitates workshops to review system iterations.
Manages the preparation of all project documentation (design and configuration specifications, test plans and scripts, etc.)
Coordinates the project activities of Subject Matter Experts.
Delegation from the process owner to make decisions on project activities for your workstream within the project scope.
Reports to the process owner on the project progress and decisions made, and have transparency about the actual project status in your functional area.
Coordinates with the business workstream, SMEs and data analyst to expedite any data cleansing needs before migration.
Asks relevant questions/pays attention to details in workshops and translates the discussions into business language.
Participates in Testing in Integration Testing (ITC) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Performs data validation activities.
Supports the creation of communication and training materials.
Supports the programme governance processes.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
5 to 10 years of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
Demonstrated management experience is an asset.
Experience working in an ERP environment, SAP, Oracle and Workday will be considered an asset.
Project management skills and experience working across functions, multiple sites and cultures.
Quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Professional accounting designation – CPA is an asset.
Strong understanding of financial and operational process flows.
Must be able to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet scheduled and unexpected deadlines.
Must possess a high degree of creativity, initiative and motivation in developing solutions to problems of a complex nature.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills and sound judgment.
