The Senior Financial Analyst, Costing plays a critical role within the Finance team, reporting to the Manager of Finance, Operations. This position provides financial and analytical support across plant operations, SKU- and item-level BoM costing, inventory management, and capital asset planning. The analyst partners closely with Operations, R&D, IT, and Supply Chain teams to deliver insight-driven analytics, ensure accurate cost structures, support new product launches, and develop reporting that drives strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities include:\r\nPerform detailed SKU- and item-level cost analysis across all manufacturing sites to ensure accurate and transparent product costing.\r\nMonitor and analyze cost variances, absorption, production throughput, and overall plant performance, providing actionable insights to operations leadership.\r\nSupport BOM and routing validation, ensuring costing accuracy for both new and existing products.\r\nPartner with cross-functional teams to support costing for new product launches, including stage-gate analysis and cost-benefit evaluations.\r\nContribute to month-end close by preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L analysis related to COGS.\r\nMaintain accurate capital asset records, including additions, disposals, and depreciation, while supporting forecasting and reporting requirements.\r\n\r\n
