Position Overview:
Seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join as a key business partner to many of our critical organizations including R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain teams. This is an exciting role to join a fast-growing, innovative medical device company in a rapidly evolving environment. A successful candidate will have shown experience in past roles influencing business partners and supporting decision making in rapidly evolving environments. This role requires a self-starter with advanced excel and modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Independently lead the financial forecasting and reporting processes, ensuring timely execution, accurate forecasts, insightful summaries, and business recommendations to improve expense leverage Partner with business leaders to review actual results and variance to budget and forecast, providing insights and recommendations Proactively manage operating expenses and headcount to help ensure organization stay within budget Support the annual long-range planning and budgeting processes Develop and maintain financial models and reports to support business unit's requirements Lead ad hoc requests and be a resource for strategic initiatives across the business units Identify and lead initiatives to continuously improve, automate, and scale forecasting and reporting tools, processes, and methodologies Partner with Accounting and business partners to ensure accurate month end accruals and reporting Gain a thorough understanding of the business segments, product, and KPIs to provide support and reporting capabilities to the organization Provide modelling, analytics, and general financial support to the Operations, R&D, and Supply Chain teamsRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field 5+ years Finance experience, with strong working knowledge in financial planning, analysis, forecasting, reporting, and modeling preferred, ideally in a high growth company Technical Skills: Advanced: Microsoft Excel Proficient: SQL, Oracle, Salesforce (SFDC), QAD, Amazon QuickSight
