Senior Financial Analyst

RELATIONSHIP & SCOPE 

The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Senior Manager, Financial Reporting and is a pivotal team member of the unit responsible for preparation of quarterly SEC filings and consolidated financial reporting. The Senior Financial Analyst will interact with a diverse group of internal personnel including other financial analysts, divisional leadership, and functional staff to interpret financial data and operational performance. 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

Assist in the preparation of all 10-Q/K SEC filings including financial statements, footnotes, disclosures and supporting documentationBe accountable for various analytical and reporting responsibilities that include the ability to work within finance and other departmentsRecognize, research, and resolve SEC reporting and general accounting issuesAnalyze technical accounting topics and propose conclusionsAssist in XBRL reporting for all SEC filings, which includes researching tags and staying up to date with taxonomy updatesAssist with the implementation of FASB projects and standards

QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Business with a major in Accounting or Finance Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required, with Big 4 experience preferred CPA designation preferred Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Excellent computer skills with an ability to learn accounting software Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment Microsoft Word and Excel experience required Mindset for process improvement and efficiency Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
