TRATON R&D is seeking a Senior Financial Consultant to join our high-performing team in Lisle, IL! In this key role, you will work closely with various business units to gain a deep understanding of operations and deliver actionable financial insights that drive profitable growth. We’re looking for a results-driven finance professional with strong analytical abilities, advanced financial modeling skills, and excellent communication capabilities.

Responsibilities Lead monthly financial, operational, and board review preparationsPerform in-depth financial analysis and develop complex financial modelsCreate and present financial insights to support and influence strategic decision-makingPrepare financial forecast, trend evaluations, and fluctuation analysisProactively identify and communicate trends, risks, and opportunitiesDrive planning and forecasting cycles (Strategic Plan, Operating Plan, and monthly forecasts)Oversee R&D program approvals and provide management supportLead capital project assessments and business case developmentManage headcount forecasting, analyze resource utilization, and develop relevant performance metricsSupport the implementation of best-practice financial tools and processes to deliver efficiency improvements

Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degreeAt least 5 years of finance experience1 year lead experience

OR

Master’s degreeAt least 3 years of finance experience1 year lead experience

OR

At least 8 years of finance experience1 year lead experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
