The Squarespace Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will be responsible for Corporate FP&A. We are looking for an ethical foundation and the ability to present unbiased and accurate information to all partners. You will be a necessary partner involved in budgeting, forecasting, and the analysis of financial results. You will partner with Finance, Legal, and People, on projects related to compensation, total rewards planning, and real estate strategy. You will report to the Director, FP&A and is based in the New York City office (hybrid 3x week).
You'll Get To... Maintain financial models supporting the People, Finance, and Legal Functions, also related to real estate, total workforce planning, and compensation. Actively involved in the preparation of the monthly close, forecast, and annual planning processes, and related financial reviews with partners. Partner with the People team to manage and forecast all headcount-related investments, including compensation and benefits planning. Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations on spending across organizational teams. Use knowledge of the business and corporate functions while providing impactful data and insights that may help guide the decision-making process. Independently build complex models and forecasts. Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of existing processes and propose improvements to streamline the use of important measurements. Present insights of key analysis to external partners/leadership. Who We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis or related roles. Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent experience. Experience with financial statements. Developing financial modeling skills while continuing to expand on analysis skills. Mastery of Excel and FP&A Systems experience (e.g., Workday, NetSuite, or similar planning tool). Willingness to dig into the numbers to gain key insights. Ability to interact with team members across the business and corporate functions at all levels.
