Your New Role...

As a Senior Analyst within the Resource Planning Center of Excellence, you will be part of the global team responsible for planning, reporting, and analyzing worldwide personnel-related costs for Warner Bros. Discovery, supporting 35,000+ employees across 50+ locations.
 

Your main responsibility is to help ensure proactive and high-quality labor management forecasting, reporting, and analysis for countries within the EMEA and APAC regions – providing your business partners with critical information and insights to drive timely decision-making.  


Your Role Accountabilities…

Support the month-end close process and deliver personnel-cost variance analysesPerform detailed reviews of headcount and staff costs with HR and business partnersSummarize key findings to support discussions and decision-making within the businessAssist in producing monthly cost forecast submissions and updating all related systemsHelp to design and lead the implementation of future financial systems and tools, focused specifically on simplifying reporting, planning, and analysisSupport the annual budget process, including the design of input templates and the review of global planning assumptionsParticipate in the financial review of key initiatives focused on driving business performance, including the creation and analysis of business cases for new hiring or restructuring activitiesDevelop actionable insights aimed to improve business unit and regional profitabilityPerform ad hoc tasks and reporting related to cost management and governance meetings as appropriateMaintain and improve the processes supporting financial planning and analysis activities


Qualifications and Experience…

Education:  Business-related university degree, with CIMA/ACCA qualification or education in-progress desired.Experience:  5+ years of FP&A Finance function work experience.  Direct knowledge of financial controls, management reporting, and business analyses, preferably within an international environment.Knowledge:  Strong understanding of accounting and forecasting principles, financial analysis and reporting, and financial/application controls.Skills:  Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.  Effective communicator with the ability to influence and persuade across organizational levels.  Strong fluency in English.  Notable stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.  Proficient in Excel and other Office applications. Abilities:  Robust problem-solving and analytical skills.  High drive and energy levels.  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing tasks and deadlines.  Intellectual capacity to digest complex information, see trends and analysis through data, and to translate this into concrete actions.  Familiarity in working with global/remote teams is a plus.Leadership:  Ability to develop strategic plans, set clear goals, and deliver high-quality services.  Strong problem resolution skills, integrity, tact, and diplomacy.  Ability to operate independently and autonomously.Collaboration:  Proven change agent with strong collaboration and organizational skills.  Business driven attitude and a sparring partner for management.
