Our Opportunity:
Chewy seeks a highly motivated, analytical, and enthusiastic Sr. Financial Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team! Combining an understanding of finance and using data to make and drive decisions, you will perform various financial planning and analysis processes to support key strategic decisions, drive growth in Equine, Farm, and Exotics categories, and ensure financial objectives are achieved. You will work cross-functionally, represent finance in various settings, and be involved in the decision-making process by providing data-driven recommendations to various business partners.
What You'll Do:
Perform modeling and analytics required to synthesize large sets of data and produce concise outputs to convey recommendations and/or conclusions to leadershipManage the full P&L by providing weekly reporting and supporting period close processesSupport the financial modeling of new investment opportunities and deep dive analysis of existing initiativesHelp defines key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate overall business performanceWork cross-functionally with the broader Chewy finance team, the Chewy Healthcare merchandising team, product team, marketing, supply chain, and accounting to fully understand the business, its customers, and overall operationsActively participate in the strategic planning, target setting, and annual planning processesEffectively manage numerous projects at a given time in a fast-paced environmentWhat You'll Need:
BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Management3 years of relevant finance experience with a basic understanding of GAAP and a grasp of financial statementsFinancial analysis and modeling skills, and experience in forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysisSophisticated Excel (i.e., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)Ability to think creatively, self-start, work independently, take care of ambiguity, and meet tight deadlines / prioritize changing workloadsA proactive mindset, taking ownership for tasks and seeing them through to completionOutstanding attention to detail and a dedication to producing accurate workStrong written and oral communication skillsExperience with SQL codingBonus (if applicable):
Hyperion Smartview, Tableau, Oracle ERPThe specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Exempt salary team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
