Senior Financial Analyst
*Must live in Miami, FL
The Sr Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in financial analysis and forecasting for capital expenditures. The position involves creating spend curve models and determining the timing of capital outflows. The analyst will monitor and report on project financials to ensure budget targets are met, while identifying potential risks of overspending or underspending. The role requires distinguishing and managing CapEx versus OpEx allocations across various initiatives, as well as collaborating with the Assistant Vice President to support strategic planning and executive reporting. The analyst will also manipulate and summarize large datasets in Excel to generate actionable insights and support ad hoc financial projects and scenario modeling as needed.
ResponsibilitiesConduct financial analysis and forecasting for capital expenditures.Develop spend curve models and determine timing of capital outflows.Monitor and report on project financials to ensure budget alignment.Identify risks of overspend or underspend and take corrective actions.Distinguish and manage CapEx vs. OpEx allocations across multiple initiatives.Collaborate with the AVP for strategic planning and executive reporting.Manipulate and summarize large datasets in Excel for actionable insights.Support ad hoc financial projects and scenario modeling.Essential Skills4–6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis with a focus on CapEx.Strong proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data models.Experience with capital spend curves and forecasting.Ability to manage financial targets and track project performance.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Work Environment
This position reports to a Manager and requires working in the office four days a week, with Fridays being remote.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
