Chemours is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing Finance team. This position will be available at Shanghai, China and report directly to the Finance Senior Manager.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Support business to manage financial related commercial processes to ensure data integrity.Manage profitability tracking with joint venture.Analyze financial reports to support business control effectiveness.Act as region coordinator for credit activities in supporting global credit team ensuring smooth business operations.Coordinate treasury related bank transactions in Asia in supporting entity funding needs and lead China specific Treasury initiatives/Projects.Work closely with Entity Accounting and Reporting Team (EART) and outsourced service providers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of local and global financial statements, monitor month-end closing activities for responsible entities.Partnering with EART team and Tax team to manage effective statutory audits, tax and other regulatory requirements submissions, including Client Assistance Program for our Statutory Auditor.Implement finance process improvement initiatives and internal controls improvements.Provide ad-hoc support, investigation and coordination to Tax team.

The following is required for this role:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.In-depth Accounting and/or Audit experience of 3 years.Good knowledge of accounting operations, closing activities and US/local GAAP.Good command of written and verbal languages for both English and ChineseAbility to effectively work and communicate with finance and cross functional teams in various locations remotely for delivery of results.Good understanding of computerized working environment and knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SAP, Power BI and Alteryx will be an advantage.Works independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyHighly self-motivated, hands-on, positive, results-oriented, a can-do attitude and strong team player

The following is preferred for this role:

CPAExperience in Big 4 and/or Multinational Companies.Good knowledge of treasury & credit activities.Financial analysis working experience.
