Position Overview International Motors is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Warranty to join our team in Lisle. This role will leverage deep expertise in the company’s warranty business to deliver insightful financial and operational analyses, develop meaningful reports, and support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing visibility into warranty performance and driving strategic initiatives across the organization. Responsibilities Analyze Results vs. Forecast: Assist in performing the warranty liability estimation analysis for financial reporting of standard warranty, goodwill, campaigns, and other warranty coverages Help develop and maintain warranty accrual models to ensure appropriate financial reserves Prepare the short-term budget and long-term forecast for warranty coverages, including partnering with Warranty, Quality, and Engineering groups to identify risks and opportunities of future experience Analyze warranty claims data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential cost reduction opportunities Manage the use of large datasets to support the warranty analyses and mitigate risk through establishing reasonable control checks Take active role in identifying opportunities to make processes more efficient and accurate Achieve and maintain high forecasting accuracy Prepare presentations for senior leadership on warranty performance and financial implications Assist in the design and publishing of the reporting package of KPI’s for Warranty leadership team Business Partnership: Partner with engineering and quality teams to quantify financial impact of quality and process improvement initiatives. Collaborate with engineering and service teams to analyze cost reduction projects and provide data / feedback to the team to aid in development of future projects Further develop and support data analytics tools; Includes Power BI models currently built, and potentially developing designing new models tailored towards Finance and Business teams requirements Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree At least 5 years of finance experience 1 year lead experience OR Master’s degree At least 3 years of finance experience 1 year lead experience OR At least 8 years of finance experience 1 year lead experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
