Description BEATS (Business, Electronics, Automotive, and Technology Solutions ) Finance is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Category Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to create and innovate on behalf of our customers and vendors/sellers in the Renewed Program. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a finance partner to the Renewed business team supporting controllership and growth and cost optimization activities through thoughtful insights and financial analysis. This includes, among other things, responsibility for financial metrics, reporting, forecasting and analysis. The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical, and have the demonstrated ability to effectively manage the finances of a large organization. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science) - 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience - 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience - 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience Preferred Qualifications - MBA, or CPA - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) - 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
