Senior Financial Analyst, Surety

Position Summary: 

This is a Senior Financial Analyst Position that reports into the Surety Divisional Financial Officer and the role requires advanced financial and data analysis skills.

Prepare monthly and quarterly production metrics reports for Surety Management Prepare in-depth Expense Analysis Assist with Quarterly Close Analysis and Presentation Data replication and dashboard development for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting Knowledge of key external financial data sets  Surety System Integration Support Assist in Identifying Data Quality Issues Provide Compliance Reporting as required  Handle ad-hoc report generation requests from Product Lines and the Field 3-5 years relevant work experienceBachelor’s Degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.Knowledge of analyzing datasets using advanced Excel analytical tools1-3 years’ experience with knowledge of SQL, UNIX, Qlik Sense, R & PythonAnalytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyWorks successfully in a team environment and independently with the ability to quickly adapt to change.Good communication and presentation skillsProactive, self-motivated and detail orientedSolid problem solving, decision making and analytical skillsAbility to organize, plan and implement work assignments, juggle competing demands and work under pressure of frequent and tight deadlines
