Description Ring is looking for a hands-on Senior Financial Analyst to strengthen the international finance team at Ring in Amsterdam. You will be working with sales and marketing teams in Europe, APAC, MEA and LATAM and have stakeholders at the Ring headquarter in the US. In your role you will be managing reporting, analysis and forecasting to drive household and subscriber acquisition and retention in existing markets, as well as facilitate geographical, category and channel expansion. You will be part of an agile finance team of five, and together we are improving short term profitability and long term value for Ring, Blink and Amazon. Key job responsibilities - coordinate reporting and forecasting cycles for sales, margin and OPEX and align goals with regional stakeholders and corporate teams - liaise with department heads on margin and cost control - work with business partners and accounting to ensure accuracy of provisions for expenses, rebates and deferred revenue - coordinate month end analysis to provide commentary on variances - plan strategic three year forecast for OPEX for international markets A day in the life In your day-to-day business you will liaise with sales and marketing to analyze variances and provide commentary for month end close, monthly and quarterly forecast updates. You coordinate with finance counterparts in the US to make sure processes and deliverables are aligned with the cadence of worldwide business reviews, whilst driving international business reviews independently. As you navigate ERPs (NetSuite, Oracle and Cognos) you will use advanced MS Excel techniques and AI tools to drive actionable insights into unit sales, gross profit and OPEX variances. Expect a fair share of troubleshooting to iron out inconsistencies in reporting - improvise fast when needed, work on a sustainable solution whenever possible. You thrive in a complex and changing environment. Having the mindset of a process engineer, you take the initiative for business transformation, working with stakeholders across time zones and functions. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science) - Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses - Experience designing and implementing controls or experience performing audits over financial reporting environment - Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis - Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes - Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis - Experience working with stakeholders - Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and VBA in conjunction with ERPs (for example NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) Preferred Qualifications - Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results - Experience with cube engine tools (e.g. TM1, Cognos or Essbase), SQL and Data warehouse - Knowledge of Tableau - Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence - MBA - Work experience in consumer electronics, in international environments or matrix organizations Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
