As the Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A Syndications, you will support the financial and operational needs of Element's growing syndications program. You'll collaborate closely with the internal Syndication team, along with pricing, legal, accounting, and FP&A functions to analyze, execute, and monitor syndicated transactions. Your efforts will help ensure transparency, profitability, and efficiency across the syndication lifecycle and contribute to the company's overall capital efficiency and financial performance.

A Day in the Life  

Partner with the Syndication team to support the execution of syndicated transactions, including pricing validation, margin analysis, and revenue forecastingBuild and maintain financial models for syndicated deals to assess deal economics, track ongoing performance, and support strategic decision-makingReview and interpret legal agreements, ensuring financial terms are correctly reflected in billing and revenue recognitionMonitor actual performance of syndicated assets versus expected returns, investigate variances, and provide actionable insightsCreate and enhance standard templates and tools to streamline repricing calculations and deal performance reportingCollaborates cross-functionally with Pricing, Legal, Sales, Accounting, and FP&A to support deal evaluation, structuring, and governanceDevelop dashboards and data workflows (e.g. PowerBI, Alteryx, OneStream) to enhance the visibility, speed, and accuracy of syndication reportingAssist in preparing materials for executive leadership and board presentations related to syndicationsSupport internal audits and control processes related to syndicated transactionsContinuously identify and implement process improvements to support scale and efficiency in the syndication function

Requirements 

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field of studyMinimum 3 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a transaction-focused roleExposure to structured finance, capital partnerships, or syndicated deals is a strong assetExcellent financial modeling and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex deal structuresDetail oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight timelinesClear and concise communicator with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across departmentsAdvance proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other core Office toolsExperience with tools such as PowerBI, Alteryx, Power Automate, SQL, or Smartsheet a plusFamiliarity with SAP S4/HANA or OneStream is preferred, but not required

The hiring base salary range for this position is $76,300 to $104,900 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
