Amazon’s Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) Finance team is seeking a highly effective Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. Key job responsibilities
• Build and maintain in depth knowledge across key business areas by staying current on initiatives, goals, business challenges and opportunities spanning a wide surface area for the AGI Infrastructure org
• Support monthly close and planning cycles for the AGI Infrastructure org with a focus on AWS compute usage including rapid growth in data storage requirements to build AGI’s Nova family of models
• Partner with the business to design and implement key performance indicators and reporting solutions to drive insights and enable quicker and more effective decision making to achieve critical goals
• Identify, quantify and drive operational and cost saving initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, and cost avoidance across multiple AGI products and services

A day in the life
Data – it’s the foundation on which GenAI models and services are built. This role will partner with Amazon's Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) Team and peers in the AGI Finance team to design and implement key performance indicators and reporting solutions to drive insights and enable quicker and more effective decision making to achieve critical goals, including those around data storage requirements. The role will own both strategic and operational components, including creating, maintaining and expanding the scope of financial models that help drive the business. Given the strategic nature of this business, this is a high visibility role.

AGI Infrastructure provides training capabilities and services to accelerate invention of Amazon’s Nova family of models across all modalities (text, speech, audio, image, video) and their derivatives. These services include high-performance ML infrastructure, modeling toolkits, and optimized MLOps workflows for AGI scientists to build, train and release their models.
