Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with expected first year total earnings $90000 - $120000 base with bonus potential. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

OverviewThe Senior Accountant is responsible to prepare accounting information by analyzing, recording, verifying, consolidating, entering, and monitoring transactions; preparing trial balances and financial statements; producing payroll; supporting external auditors; helping team members.
Primary Responsibilities Leads the organization's accounting activities, including financial record keeping and reportingMaintaining records of organization's financial activity in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), organizational standards, and in compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley ActCreating reports on financial performance for internal and external useCompleting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities related to foreign exchange, cash management and tax, including preparing the appropriate audit work papers for such activitiesSupporting and assisting junior accounting staff in the development of their professional skillsFinancial statement preparation and analysisReconciliations, general ledger maintenance, journal entries and month end close.
