Summary: Our client is in search of a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant to join our Portfolio Reporting team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial reporting and general ledger functions for a multitude of entities. You will collaborate closely with internal departments and external auditors to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. This is a high-impact role with built in growth potential. Responsibilities: * Prepare, analyze, and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP-based financial reports and supporting workpapers * Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts; prepare and review journal entries * Support the preparation of SEC filings and related public disclosures * Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly and annual procedures * Monitor and ensure compliance with debt covenants and other financial reporting requirements * Maintain and update cash forecasts; monitor liquidity and funding needs * Calculate and facilitate the payment of business management fees * Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Asset Management, and Corporate Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting * Review and code corporate payables for assigned entities * Lead or participate in special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by senior management * Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
