Senior Finance Manager

As Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Joint Replacement Finance Europe & FP&A Group, delivering on reporting, projection and budget processes with value-add insights to drive business performance. You will collaborate with various stakeholders in a matrix organization, including JR EMEA leadership, divisional finance, sales & marketing, local finance, European Financial Shared Service Centre and the FP&A team.
You will be responsible for developing a team of analysts and fostering an inclusive & high performance culture.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Lead and inspire a team of financial professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
+ Provide strategic financial guidance, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive informed decision-making and business growth.
+ Develop comprehensive business plans, including annual budgets, strategic plans, forecasts.
+ Translate operational goals into financial projections, ensuring targets are met and recommending corrective actions when deviations occur.
+ Conduct in-depth price-volume and market trend analyses to evaluate profitability and uncover key drivers of financial performance.
+ Deliver detailed variance analyses, comparing actual results to forecasts and budgets, identifying root causes, and proposing corrective actions.
+ Define and monitor financial and inventory objectives, tailored to the specific needs of the business unit.
+ Oversee the preparation and distribution of accurate, timely financial reports to support business performance and strategic initiatives.
**Requirements**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
+ Fluent spoken and written English. Any other European language is a plus
+ 10 + years of relevant working experience in a finance function preferably in a matrixed international
+ 3+ years in a people leadership role
+ Strong visualization & reporting experience : MS Power BI, Tableau, PowerPoint
+ MS PowerBI Power user
+ Exposure to various reporting systems and an understanding of how these tie into the business
+ Track record of driving results by delivering strong financial insights to the business
+ Demonstrated ability to manage projects that will significantly impact the business up-to and including working with senior leadership on major company projects
+ Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to communicate complicated issues effectively
+ People development skillset with tailored IDPs
+ Demonstrated ability to work across levels within the organization
+ Good influencing skills
+ Strong business management and developmental skills

+ Effective problem solving skills
**Preferred**
+ An accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, CPA, CIMA or ACCA) is preferred
+ HFM Experience is a plus
+ ERP system knowledge is a plus (Oracle / GLWand / SAP)
