Infrastructure Finance is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead our Supply Chain Finance Team in this innovative venture. In this strategic role, you'll oversee multibillion-dollar annual capital expenditures, contract manufacturing operations, and new product introductions across one of aerospace's most complex manufacturing networks. You'll lead and grow a substantial, well-established finance team while driving financial planning and analysis for our diverse global supply chain spanning several countries and managing multi-tier supplier relationships. Your scope will encompass everything from custom integrated circuits (ICs) to precision-engineered satellite components, propulsion systems, and optical technologies. Partnering directly with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Production Operations leadership, you'll drive data-driven procurement and investment decisions across multiple component categories, including electronic manufacturing, mechanical hardware, and dozens of distinct printed circuit board assemblies. The role requires exceptional financial modeling capabilities, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence cross-functional decisions while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As a key partner to senior leadership on production scaling initiatives, you'll impact critical decisions affecting Kuiper's ambitious satellite and ground systems production targets, from component sourcing to finished systems, while optimizing costs and capital efficiency throughout the multi-tier supply chain ecosystem.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead and scale a high-performing finance team supporting Kuiper's global supply chain operations across satellite manufacturing, ground systems, and customer terminal production.
• Drive end-to-end financial stewardship for Kuiper's complex manufacturing ecosystem, including strategic planning and financial modeling for diverse components and technologies.
• Develop long-range business plans and financial forecasts for the multi-tier supplier network spanning multiple countries.
• Present strategic financial analyses to Senior Management, influencing decisions on capital investments and manufacturing optimization.
• Transform supply chain data into actionable insights, supporting strategic sourcing and production scaling initiatives.
• Lead automation efforts and process improvements across the global manufacturing network.
• Manage multi-tier supplier relationships and optimize costs across the global supply chain.
• Partner with leadership to drive strategic initiatives, including new product introductions and manufacturing expansion.
• Foster cross-functional partnerships to drive financial performance and support innovation.
• Implement strategies to optimize capital efficiency throughout the supply chain ecosystem.

In this strategic role, you'll drive financial strategy for Project Kuiper's global supply chain, partnering with senior leadership across Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations. You'll shape long-term manufacturing strategies, optimize capital allocation for production scaling, and influence key investment decisions. Working with cross-functional leaders, you'll develop approaches to balance cost efficiency with rapid market deployment while analyzing complex financial models for new product introductions and expansion plans. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing multi-tier supplier relationships and ensuring financial performance aligns with Kuiper's ambitious production targets, while maximizing capital efficiency across the supply chain ecosystem.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- 10+ years of directly managing and leading a team of 10+ members experience
- 10+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- 8+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 8+ years of mentoring junior finance and/or business team members experience
- 5+ years of working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite) experience
- MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $137,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $227,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
