Job Description:The Senior Finance Business Partner is a strategic partner responsible for providing actionable financial insights, guidance, and support to senior leadership teams. This role is ideal for seasoned finance professionals with a deep understanding of financial analysis, strategic planning, and business operations. Senior Finance Business Partners act as a trusted advisor to senior-leaders, leading complex financial projects, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring that financial insights align with company goals. This role demands strong analytical skills, the ability to influence at an executive level, and a proactive approach to enhancing financial processes and decision-making.

Senior finance business partners mentor other finance business partners and improve current practices. Senior Finance Business Partners exhibit a high degree of professionalism and easily balance the strategic vision of the organization with the day-to-day operations (or projects).

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Guidance: Serves as a key financial advisor to senior leadership, delivering insights that support business growth, cost optimization, and long-term planningAdvanced Financial Analysis: Conducts complex analyses, including forecasting, sensitivity analysis, and scenario modeling, to guide strategic decisionsEnterprise Collaboration: Partners with business leaders and executives to align financial plans with strategic objectives, ensuring financial insights inform key decisionsProject and Process Leadership: Leads high-impact projects, develop new methodologies, and oversees process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and resource allocationTeam Mentorship: Mentors and guides junior finance team members, sharing expertise, fostering skill development, and ensuring the team’s success

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in finance, including significant experience in financial analysis and business partneringExpert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Strata, Workday) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau)Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for senior stakeholdersStrong leadership and communication skills to influence and drive change across the organizationDemonstrated ability to manage multiple high-impact projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or relevant certification (CGMA, CPA, CHFP)
