Senior Finance Business Partner
Location: Warsaw, hybrid work
To support Global Finance and Global Financial Services (GFS) in maximizing finance contributions to business objectives.
The role provides high-quality financial and commercial input to strategic decisions, challenges forecasting assumptions,
and delivers expert analysis on performance, key risks, and sensitivities.
They will be members of a global network of Finance Business Partners, Finance Business Managers and Business Analysts,
sharing best practice and delivering valued support to the Business with global consistency and efficiency
Typical Accountabilities:
- Business Strategy & Decision Support; supporting key business & investment decisions with solid skills in scoping customer requirements, analysing issues, developing options and enabling appropriate decision making based on strategic business need
- Business Performance; driving financial performance and business activity, to deliver and communicate performance and business planning submissions/reporting, and to advise senior management on key drivers.
- Continuous Improvement, Coaching & Governance; supporting continuous improvement in Finance processes and capabilities and to lead financial risk management and financial governance in area of accountability.
- Business Strategy & Decision Support
Working proactively with the business to understand future financial information needs and producing efficient solutions to meet these needs ( Business Case Development, Benefits tracking, KPIs etc)Assessing the relevant input required to support others during difficult business decisionsNegotiating and communicating effectively across teams and business units and with external parties to achieve a positive outcome, encouraging others to demonstrate flexibility when considering options and assessing business impactBeing actively involved in review and development of short & long-term strategy for finance function and maintaining an up-to-date understanding of all developments which may affect the organisation’s operations and policies and proactively advising customers of all relevant matters to achieve business requirements and objectivesAccountabilities:
Managing and overseeing the Above Market Finance and GFS financials, ensuring alignment with overall business goalsSupporting the Finance Senior Leadership Team in setting and executing financial strategies to achieve financial targets of the function.Leading resource allocation efforts to ensure financial efficiency and alignment with organizational prioritiesProviding strategic planning support, ensuring that the company’s financial resources are effectively deployed to meet long-term objectivesManaging financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to help steer business decisionsServing as a key partner for various stakeholders, providing insights on financial performance and opportunities for productivityEnsuring the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations and standardsMeasures:
Delivery of the finance unit and financial targets.Delivery of Global Finance and GFS planning submissions and reporting requirements.Feedback from finance networks and business customers.Quality of decision support and insights provided to Global Finance leadership.Conformance with compliance and internal control standards.Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential:
Qualified finance professional (or equivalent)Experience of Finance Business PartneringExperience of working in a global pharmaceutical organisationExceptional communication and presentation skills, including oral & written.Excellent Interpersonal skills.Demonstrable knowledge of global and corporate business contextExperience of using financial systems to support business decision making (budgeting, forecasting & modelling)Date Posted
