Location: Gatwick - 3 days a week

DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst RTR to play a vital role within our Finance function, performing all accounting processes for their respective operation.

\n

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n

As part of your normal duties, you will be responsible for:

\n\nPerform accounting processes in scope for a range of sites, customers or functions as directed like month end, reconciliations (i.e. Open Book Recs, Payroll Recs, Revenue BS Rec, etc.), fixed assets accounting etc.\nOpen book equalisations\nRegular engagement with site ops teams, Reporting team, BU FC's and shared services on inputs and outputs for the completion of common processes\nBuild deep business knowledge for the customer/sites in scope to provide support for decision making\nEffectively maintain period end and year end closing schedules for the customer/sites in scope\nAdherence to finance processes and accurate, timely report production •Participate in process improvement workshops and activity\nProvide regular updates to the Reporting Manager on process completion, issue resolution and any escalations\nDeliver the processes in scope to the agreed KPI requirements and support performance management\nSupport change programmes\nEnsure all standard accounting processes on and off system are followed identifying continuous improvement opportunities to the Reporting Manager\nManage individual workflow ensuring agreed deadlines are met\nAd hoc tasks as required Any other purchasing or operational admin related activities as required by the Controller or Manager\n\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nKnowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements\n 2-3 Years experience of performing accounting in a logistics or similar industry would be a preference\nExperience of using Oracle Cloud would be a preference\nEffective time management skills\nClear, effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills\nAbility to work well in a team\nStrong financial and analytical skills\nFlexible and resilient\n\n
