Senior Finance Analyst – Regional FP&A

What the Day Looks Like Reporting into the Regional Finance Director (Australia), and working closely with Regional FP&A Finance Partners, primarily supporting ABS & other shared functions across the APAC Business: + FP&A Activities: Undertake FP&A activities including month close entries support, comparable adjustments, reclass entries, flash commentary; efficiency programs & project financial tracking, operating model Labor force movements. + Forecasting & Planning: Produce monthly forecasts & annual operating plan, which accurately project business performance on Management P&L & Balance sheet metrics. In collaboration with ABS Finance Business partners. + Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate Management reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis and ad-hoc basis. + Variance Analysis: Identify and highlight variances on financial results versus forecast, plan, and prior year, trend analysis and insights to support timely decision making & presentations, walks. + KPI Analysis & Subject Matter expertise: Conduct cost analysis, modelling, and insights across spend and revenue categories, functions, business divisions, and vendors as required. Maintain relevant financial models, artefacts as required in support of functional metrics & operational requirements, e.g. standard rate card calculations. + Consumption & Allocation Methodologies: Maintain appropriate Allocation methodologies and reporting structure + controls for portfolios as managed and/or directed + Business Cases: work closely with Finance partners, Program Management and Business unit leaders, in preparation of financial scenario modelling, Cost Benefit Analysis and business case supporting documentation for investment submissions in line with Aon’s governance processes + Champion of Standardisation and Governance: Working across multiple disciplines & organizational structures, to understand, deliver and help ensure compliance to global/country governance and & reporting standards, guidelines. + Key regional FP&A Voice & Connector: Working collaboratively to support best outcomes across our regional & local finance teams as Aon grows and matures our regional Philippines based capabilities (insourced or outsourced) towards a formal Centre of Excellence (COE) Model. You will provide key analytical support and be responsible for timely and accurate financial planning & forecasting for various areas of responsibility, across the span of FP&A activities and financial reporting cycles & structures, including execution of our Target Operating Model strategy. Skills and experience that will lead to success + Requires 5-7 years FP&A or General Accounting experience or equivalent experience, ideally in an international corporate setting, including 5 years forecasting and analysis. + Professional accounting qualifications e.g. CPA/CA/ACCA desirable. + Understanding of allocation methodologies in a corporate shared services environment is desirable. + Experience working within a remote team + Strong financial acumen with a core understanding of financial and management accounting principles and concepts. + Ability to organize and analyze large volumes of data, efficiently and effectively perform data reconciliations across multiple data sets and inputs. + Ability to manage and articulate financial data & concepts, to present clear and concise analysis & decision points to key senior collaborators How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
