WHAT YOU WILL DO

\n

As a Senior Field Technician, you’ll be the technical expert on the ground—installing, configuring, and supporting POS systems at client sites. You’ll lead junior technicians, troubleshoot issues, and ensure every deployment runs smoothly and professionally. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction and operational success.

To break it down, your responsibilities will include:

\n\nInstalling and configuring POS hardware and software at client locations.\nLeading and mentoring junior technicians during field deployments.\nTroubleshooting technical issues related to terminals, peripherals, and networks.\nCoordinating with project managers, vendors, and clients to ensure timely rollouts.\nConducting system testing and providing user training post-installation.\nMaintaining detailed documentation of all technical activities.\nEnsuring compliance with company standards and customer expectations.\nTraveling to client sites, including after-hours when required\n

To be successful in this role, YOU will bring:

\n\nA diploma or degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.\n3–5 years of experience in POS system installation or field service roles.\nStrong understanding of POS hardware (terminals, printers, scanners, etc.).\nBasic to intermediate networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routers, switches).\nFamiliarity with Windows operating systems.\nExcellent problem-solving and communication skills.\nA customer-first mindset and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.\nWillingness to travel frequently and work independently under pressure.\nCertifications in networking or systems support (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are a plus.\n\n
