As a Senior Field Representative, you’ll provide expert-level service and repair for complex office equipment across a designated territory. You’ll act as a technical specialist, mentor peers, and drive customer satisfaction through proactive support and relationship management.
📌 Key Responsibilities Technical Expertise & SupportService and repair high-complexity B&W, color, and multifunctional devices
Perform diagnostics, installations, removals, and retrofits
Provide second-level technical support to fellow technicians
Complete training on new equipment and maintain digital competencies
Training & LeadershipDeliver on-the-job training and technical seminars
Serve as a role model in professionalism and problem-solving
Champion continuous improvement and team collaboration
Territory ManagementIndependently manage service calls, inventory, and customer relationships
Collaborate with sales teams to identify upgrades and contract opportunities
Maintain accurate parts inventory and adhere to backup plans
Step in for Field Technology Service Manager as needed
Customer EngagementResolve complex customer issues with professionalism and empathy
Act as liaison for unresolved technical problems
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and follow-through
Maintain productive relationships with internal teams and external clients
🎓 Qualifications Requirement Details Education & Experience Technical school + 3+ years experience (2+ as Tech Service Consultant I) Certification At least 1 industry certification with 2+ years of sustained performance Driver’s License & Insurance Required for extensive travel 🧠 Skills & CompetenciesExpert knowledge of electro-mechanical systems and assigned equipment
Strong troubleshooting and fine-motor skills for small component work
Excellent verbal communication and customer service abilities
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and documentation
🏃♂️ Working Conditions & Physical DemandsExtensive daily travel by car or foot in varying weather conditions
Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), pushing (up to 400 lbs), and tool handling
Exposure to solvents, minor cuts, burns, and physical strain
Occasional shift work, overtime, and on-call responsibilities
High dexterity required for tool use and component repairs
