Senior Field Medical Advisor Requistion ID: 6657 Location: Hamburg, Hamburg, DE **Senior Field Medical Advisor (FMA)** The Senior Field Medical Advisor plays a key role within the German Medical Affairs team, serving as a scientific expert for Lundbeck’s Neuro-rare portfolio. This role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, generating actionable insights to shape the local medical launch strategy and ensure scientific excellence in all engagements. **Your new role** As a Senior Field Medical Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Lundbeck’s Neuro-rare portfolio in Germany. Reporting to the local Medical Director and working in close alignment with Global Medical Affairs, you will apply your scientific expertise to build strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders. Your proactive mindset and strong communication skills will support the development and execution of the local medical strategy, helping to bring innovative therapies to patients living with rare neurological diseases. You will: + Define and execute local pre-launch strategy and activities in collaboration with local Medical Director and provide input into needed capacity & capabilities for Local Medical Neuro-rare team, + Define and execute engagement plans with local Key External Experts (KEE) in partnership with Medical Director to develop and maintain credible, scientific relationships with and address scientific and therapeutic needs, + Define and execute engagement plans with local Patient Advocacy Groups for medical queries regarding ongoing Lundbeck Neuro-rare clinical programs and other medical needs, + Support Phase III clinical trials by engaging local clinical trial site KEEs, Principal Investigators, and Patient Advocacy Groups to build ongoing relationships and provide educational support, + Represent Lundbeck as a scientific expert at local congresses and other medical or scientific events to build and maintain relationships with Local KEEs and Patient Advocacy Groups, + Uncover local medical insights from Neuro-rare Centers of Excellence, clinical trial sites, key clinical practices, KEEs and referral networks to define local patient journey and inform Global and Local medical strategies, + In collaboration with the local Medical Director, lead individual corporate projects to further advance medical strategies, as assigned, + Maintain in-depth scientific, pharmaceutical, and clinical knowledge of Neuro-rare diseases. **Your future team** You’ll be part of the Lundbeck Germany Medical Affairs team. Flexibility for attendance at the Hamburg office is expected, if required, as well as readiness to travel nationally and internationally to support essential business activities **What you bring to the team** You are a scientifically driven professional with a strong background in medical affairs and a passion for improving the lives of people living with rare neurological diseases. You bring: + An advanced degree (PharmD, MD, DO, PhD or equivalent), + 5+ years of medical affairs and 2+ years of experience in field medical affairs, + Prior therapeutic areas experience in rare neurological conditions (e.g. epilepsy, movement disorders), + Experience with project management, leading development of tactics that align with medical strategy, + Experience supporting clinical trials execution. + Knowledge of relevant local guidelines for interactions with healthcare professionals, compliance, and reporting, + Able to synthesize complex field intelligence to shape engagement strategies and educational priorities to address clinical care gaps, + Comfortable operating in ambiguous and unmapped healthcare ecosystems, + Experienced collaborator with Local and Global colleagues, excels at prioritization and management of intra-company dynamics, + Skilled at effectively conveying scientific data to both internal and external stakeholders, including thought leaders, patient advocacy groups, and health-care organizations, + History of success in maintaining relationships with key health care professionals and staff (i.e., thought leaders, patient advocacy leaders, medical society leadership, healthcare reimbursement authorities, etc.), + Understanding of local data privacy regulations and the importance of patient data privacy, + Familiarity with CRMs, Microsoft Office, and other software platforms relevant to the position, + Proficient in German and English, + Willingness for intensive business travel. **Our promise to you** Lundbeck offers an inspiring workplace and innovative culture, where our curiosity, accountability and adaptability enable us to transform lives.
